General AI tools write the same recipe differently every time you ask. On Tatname a recipe has one main version, and the same question always gets the same answer.
Who is building it?
Tatname is being built by Kadir Akkaya, known as ChefKado on YouTube and Instagram. ChefKado is also Tatname's first content creator.
What is it for?
- For home cooks: recipes with exact grams, times and sources, plus a kitchen mode and shopping list.
- For restaurants: a legal menu, a QR menu, a printed price list and an allergen table.
- For the curious: ingredient seasons, nutrition information and the recipes they appear in.
Where do the numbers come from?
Calories, allergens and costs are never generated by AI. Code calculates them from the ingredient lines.
Nutrition data comes from the USDA (US), CoFID (UK) and Ciqual (France) tables. Classics with a geographical indication rest on TÜRKPATENT records.
The statement on a restaurant menu belongs to the restaurant. Tatname calculates, the restaurant approves. Restaurant recipes stay private.
Where are we today?
Tatname has just opened. Recipes and ingredients are public. Allergen and calorie information appears as it is checked. Membership is still closed, and we're working with restaurants one by one.
